Nyman had been strolling through Hogsmead in order to do a little research for one his projects - socializing. Since Hogsmead was a place where many students liked to hang out it seemed to him that this would be a good place to observe and refine his plan of attack. He'd had a plan in Ibiza, and things hadn't had always gone quite according to plan. When he had tried to get the girl, she hadn't had been interested, and when he hadn't been trying to 'get the girl' she had made a move on him - although that hadn't had lasted too long.
As he passed by the Shrieking Shack, a smoke bomb went off - making this the 3rd bomb of the school year that Nyman had been around when it had gone off. He choked on the fumes, eyes streaming and managed to yell "Who" cough "did that?" Even though he realized that the perpetrator probably was no longer around.

Jinx had snuck into some trees by the shrieking shack. He continued to walk a little ways away until he stopped and turned around watching people around it.

After a few moments, Nyman remembered the bubblehead charm and used to get fresh air until he managed to get out of the cloud of smoke. Once out of the smoke, he dismissed the charm. Considering the presence of the job shop in town, it made perfect sense that stuff like this would happen a lot. He saw a boy watching the cloud of smoke - a Hogwarts student, but he couldn't remember his name at the moment even though he recognized him by face from class. "Hey, did you see who planted that bomb?" He asked.

Jinx had a black trench jacket on that came a little passed his hips. He looked over at Nyman and said. "Sorry, i can't help." he shrugged.

Jia had seen the smoke bomb go off and had gone to investigate. It had to be more interesting than the class she was skipping. Might have to reapeat sixth year again, she thought with a sigh. School was just so boring. It was hard to go to class. She saw the two boys there. "Hey, what's going on?" She asked.

Jinx glanced over toward the girl that entered the scene. More people were coming it seemed. 'may have to split faster then this next time.' he thought. He smiled. "A smoke bomb was set off."

Jia looked over. "So I noticed." She observed the area. "Not very creative, but a good start," she said casually, not caring if the person who set off the smoke bomb heard her or not.

Jia nodded and led the way to the three broomsticks. She ordered a dry martini. I'll at least start it off slow, she thought.

Jia moved her finger around the edge of her glass. "Because I felt like celebrating my victory and a celebration is no fun if your by yourself." That was half of it. Really she had just wanted a drink, alcoholic and smoker that she was.
